About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Eventsandnbsp;Manager to support our client''s Christmas parties for 2 weeks from 2nd December in central Bristol. This is a temporary role, ideal for someone with a strong background in hospitality who can step in and take charge of Event operations.

Youandrsquo;ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the Event space, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction are delivered consistently.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee the daily operations of the Events team


  • Lead, train, and motivate the Events team to deliver exceptional customer service


  • Manage staff rotas, ensuring sufficient cover during busy service times


  • Support with stock control, ordering, and supplier management


  • Handle guest queries and resolve any issues quickly and professionally


  • Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards across all Fandamp;B areas


  • Report directly to the General Manager and support with operational decisions




Requirements




  • Previous Eventsandnbsp;Manager or Assistant Manager experience in a hotel or high-volume hospitality environment


  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team


  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards


  • Flexible, hands-on approach with the ability to adapt to changing demands


  • Own transport is essential due to the location of the site (Falfield, Bristol)


  • Available for temporary/ongoing work with flexible hours
