Temporary Delivery Driver Salary: £12.71 per hour + overtime paid at 1.25x after 39 hours Location: Steeton, BD20 Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, starting at 6.00am Temporary, Full Time Six-Month Contract Immediate Start Available Please note: A valid full UK driving licence is essential for this role. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our bakery and distribution team in Steeton on a temporary six-month contract. This is a varied, hands-on role involving the preparation, loading and delivery of bakery products and other goods to our retail shops. You will primarily cover three shops across Lancashire, although you may occasionally be required to cover other local delivery rounds during periods of absence. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organised and comfortable with early starts. You will play an important role in ensuring our shops receive the correct goods safely, accurately and on time each day. Role overview You will report to our head office at approximately 6.00am each morning to prepare and load the delivery van before completing the daily delivery round. Once deliveries have been completed, you will collect empty trays and racks from each shop and return them to head office.
