Temporary Cooks & Chefs

Here at PertempsNetwork Catering, we are currently recruiting for schools Cooks and Chefs to work on a temporary basis with our clients across the Birmingham Area

Hours: 7am - 3pm, 8.30am

3pm and 8am - 4pmDays: Monday- FridayEnhanced DBS needed - we can process

This position will require working as part of an established catering team, you will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook lunch for the students.Oversee food production and cookingMaintain a clean and organisedkitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimisewaste.Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair.Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies.Qualifications:GNVQ / NVQ LEVEL 2/3Food HygieneExtensive knowledge of Food Allergens with strong working experienceBenefit:Competitive salary ofRegular working hours from Monday to Friday.Opportunity to contribute to the well-being and nutrition of students.Along with these roles we have other positions available which would suit candidates looking for regular full time hours or part time hours to fit around other commitments.
