Fawkes and Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Site Manager to join a well-established and highly reputable civil engineering contractor on a major residential development project in the Bristol area.This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected contractor delivering high-quality groundworks and infrastructure packages across residential, industrial, and commercial sectors.The RoleAs the Civil Foreman / Site Manager, you will oversee the full groundworks package on a new housing development, including:Roads and sewersEarthworks and excavationDrainage and ductingFoundationsSub-base preparation and surfacingManagement of direct labour and subcontractorsYou will be responsible for ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Essential RequirementsNRSWA / Street Works QualificationCSCS CardSMSTSFirst Aid CertificateStrong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, ducting, and surfacingPrevious experience working on similar civil engineering or infrastructure projectsMinimum 2 years'' experience as a Site Manager or ForemanProven employment history with strong referencesMust live within commutable distance of Bristol / NewportKey ResponsibilitiesOversee all site operations relating to groundworks, drainage, and ductingCoordinate and manage subcontractors and site teamsEnsure works are delivered in line with programme deadlinesMaintain high standards of health and safety complianceEnsure all work meets client ..... full job details .....
