Temporary Assistant Accountant - Truro (outskirts) + Hybrid - £32,000 - £35,000 FTE Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been re-engaged by one of our long-standing clients, a specialist manufacturer and services business based on the outskirts of Truro, who seek to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant to join them on an interim basis. Commencing ASAP, this is a full-time role which can be operated on a hybrid working arrangement to suit the employer and successful candidate. The role will be supported by a highly experienced Finance Manager and works as part of a small but efficient finance function. Typical duties to include: - Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts - Accruals and prepayments - Variance analysis and budget reviews - Monitor accounts payable function ensuring correct allocation of PO numbers etc. - Assist colleagues with aged debtor management - Balance sheet and account reconciliations - Assist in year-end audit preparations We''re looking for a candidate with at least 12 months of recently gained experience operating at Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant level, ideally (though not essentially) within a manufacturing setting. The role would be particularly well suited to a recently qualified AAT candidate, or somebody with suitable exposure at QBE level.
