What the Temporary Administrator job involves

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the head office, supporting various departments and contributing to a positive employee experience.

  • Supporting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee activity, as directed.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to flexible working requests, references, and disciplinary processes.
  • Utilizing HR and payroll systems as directed.
  • Assisting with process reviews to enhance efficiency.
  • Updating and maintaining suites of letters for employee journeys.
  • Managing the main phone line, handling recruitment and general inquiries.
  • This is a varied and essential role that would suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of an organization, managing multiple priorities, and providing excellent administrative support.

 

Skills required

We’re looking for a candidate who is kind, caring, and possesses a strong administrative background. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Competence with Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong administrative skills, with the ability to use initiative and be flexible.
  • A level-headed approach, capable of managing expectations and embracing change.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the confidence to make and save changes in documents.
  • Proactive and adaptable.
  • A willingness to listen and contribute to quality improvement.

 

Other information

  • Full-time is ideal, but flexibility can be considered for core hours, school hours, or 3-4 days per week.
  • This is a temporary, on-site role, with no work-from-home or agile working options available.
  • Start Date: Ideally week commencing 3rd August.
  • Car parking is available and its easily accessible on the bus or train.
