Temporary Accounts Assistant
A business based in Sherburn in Elmet is currently recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their busy Finance Team on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will receive a salary of 30,000 pro rata, alongside attractive working hours of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role also offers a supportive team environment and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within an established finance function. Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include:Processing purchase invoices and ensuring they are coded and recorded accuratelyReconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepanciesSupporting the sales ledger, including raising invoices and allocating paymentsAssisting with bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial recordsProcessing expenses and assisting with payment runsSupporting the preparation of financial reports when requiredMaintaining organised financial documentation and recordsProviding general administrative support to the finance team and assisting with ad hoc dutiesWe are keen to speak with individuals who are currently working in a high-volume Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, or similar finance role and are looking for a new temporary opportunity.
