TEMP - Voids Manager

Hill and Hill Recruitment are seeking a Voids Manager to work with one of our Local Authority clients based in London. Key Responsibilities You will play a key role in managing the Council s voids service, ensuring properties are inspected, repaired and returned to a lettable standard efficiently and within agreed timescales. The role will involve overseeing the end-to-end voids process, from property handover and initial inspections through to works, quality checks and sign-off for re-letting. You will manage contractors and internal teams, monitoring performance, costs, quality and programme delivery to ensure void properties are returned to service as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will work closely with Housing Management, Repairs, Allocations, Property Services and external contractors to identify and resolve issues affecting void turnaround times. You will monitor void performance, expenditure, quality and key performance indicators, providing clear reporting and recommendations to senior management. You will ensure works are delivered in accordance with relevant housing standards, health and safety requirements, policies and procedures. Your Experience Significant experience managing voids within a social housing or Local Authority environment. Strong understanding of the end-to-end voids process, including inspections, specifications, repairs, refurbishment, quality control and re-letting.
