Temp to perm Sales Administrator

Are you an experienced Sales Administrator looking for your next opportunity?

We are recruiting for a successful global manufacturing business based in Greater Manchester, who are looking for a confident, organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join their busy team on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a varied role combining customer service, sales administration and order coordination, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure a first-class service.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for:

• Handling customer and supplier enquiries via telephone and email.
• Processing orders, quotations and sales enquiries.
• Managing customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Building strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Updating customers on order progress and liaising with Production.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and documentation.
• Supporting Production Planning with relevant paperwork.
• Coordinating meetings, visits and appointments.
• Providing general administrative support and contributing to a positive customer experience.

THE PERSON

We're looking for someone with:

• 2+ years' experience in sales administration.
• Ideally experience of working in either the manufacturing or logistics industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• CRM experience.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work well under pressure.
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.

• The role is currently based in Oldham but will relocate to Bredbury later in the year. Due to limited public transport, your own transport is essential.
