We are currently recruiting experienced Children''s Residential Support Workers to support a range of children''s residential homes across the North West on an agency basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work, additional shifts, or a pathway for temp to-permanent position within a children''s residential setting.

The Role

You will be supporting children and young people within residential care settings, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and structured environment while promoting positive outcomes and independence.

Duties may include:

• Supporting children and young people with their day-to-day needs
• Building positive and professional relationships
• Encouraging participation in education, activities and life skills
• Completing daily records and incident reports
• Supporting behaviour management strategies and care plans
• Promoting safeguarding and wellbeing at all times
• Working alongside multidisciplinary teams and external professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a Children''s Residential Home
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins where required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, resilient and professional approach
