Temp Part time Finance Assistant

Are you an experienced Finance Administrator looking for your next part time opportunity? We have an exciting Temp position available in Walworth for a charity starting immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing finance support to a small team. Operating two days per week, the role focuses on supporting with bank reconciliations and purchase ledger using Sage.Start date: Monday 25th May (induction on 19th May)Pay rate: 16ph - 17phWorking module: Tuesday and Wednesday onlyLocation: WalworthHours: 9.30am to 5.30pm (1hr lunch)Length of assignment: 3 monthsDuties:Maintain accurate financial records using Sage accounting softwareProcess day-to-day transactions including: Purchase invoices, sales invoices and receipts and paymentsReconcile bank accounts regularly within SageMaintain and reconcile accountsManage supplier invoices and ensure timely paymentsPrepare and process payment runsMonitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue paymentsIssue sales invoices where required and track incoming incomeUse Microsoft Excel for VLOOKUP and pivot tablesRequirements:Proven finance admin experienceStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfidence using Sage systemsExcellent Excel Skills including using VLOOKUP''s and pivot tablesOffice Angels is an employment agency and business.
