Job Title: Temporary Kitchen WasherMy client is looking for someone to help in a busy school kitchen.DBS requiredLocation: School Kitchen / Catering DepartmentReports to: Kitchen Supervisor / Catering ManagerContract Type: Temporary / Casual 15th-18th DecHours: 7am -2.30pm Key ResponsibilitiesWash dishes, trays, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using manual and/or automatic washing methods.Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, sinks, and drying stations.Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling following school policies.Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks such as wiping work surfaces, sweeping, and mopping floors.Operate dish-washing machinery safely and report any malfunctions.Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times (e.g., correct use of PPE, hand-washing, avoiding cross-contamination).Support the catering team during busy periods, including setting up and clearing down as required.Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety policies in an environment with children present.Person SpecificationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.DBS requiredGood communication skills and ability to take instruction.Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.Awareness of basic hygiene and cleanliness standards.Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling modest lifting tasks.If you are avaliable 15th -18th Dec and happy to support a school kitchen please upload your CV.Please be aware this advert will ..... full job details .....
