Temp Graduate Legal Assistant - ConveyancingWitham, EssexMonday - Friday, 9am - 5pmCompetitive Salary This is a temporary opportunity until the end of the yearThe purpose of the role is to support the legal team in all aspects of plot conveyancing work, assisting with legal documentation, post-completion processes, and general legal office duties, while gaining experience and contributing to the smooth operation of the team.Duties:Assist with plot reservations, engrossments, filing, exchanges, title checks and completions to ensure smooth and timely property transactionsSupport Conveyancers with their caseloadsHandle standard conveyancing matters under supervision to develop legal expertise and contribute to case progress.Manage post-completion tasks such as stamp duty returns and Land Registration to finalise transactions and ensure legal compliance.Assist with lease/transfer variations and reversion sales to facilitate accurate and lawful property modifications.Support the recovery of retentions (non-litigious) to secure outstanding funds and close financial matters.Carry out Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks in accordance with legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.Respond to requests for certificates of compliance and enquiries from owners on historic sites to provide accurate information and maintain good client relations.Use the Company''s case management system to carry out legal tasks and maintain records to ensure efficient workflow ..... full job details .....
