Assistant Accountant Temp - Lincoln - up to £40,000 Chase and Holland are excited to be working with a market leading and global organisation, to recruit for a friendly Assistant Accountant to join a great team. The Assistant Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department and ensuring the accurate and efficient management of financial transactions. This position will report directly to the Financial Controller and collaborate with other team members to maintain financial records, process invoices, reconcile accounts, and perform various financial tasks. This varied role would suit someone looking to progress and learn within a successful business long term to grow and develop their skills.Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:Maintain and process the purchase ledger entriesManage monthly supplier payment runsProcess sales invoices, credit notes and receiptsContribute to month-end activities including accruals and prepaymentsMaintain Fixed Asset register including depreciation calculations and journalsAssist with balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain bank reconciliations and support cash flow forecastingSupport the preparation of monthly reporting packagesAssist with weekly payroll checks and post payroll journalsPrepare sales and debtor reportsRespond to internal controlling queriesSupport and improve financial reporting processes, including automationWork collaboratively within the finance team and support colleaguesRequired Skills and ..... full job details .....
