About the Role:
We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Telescopic Grab Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaft sinking operations, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of telescopic grab equipment in demanding underground environments. Shaft sinking experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate telescopic grab machinery safely and efficiently
• Excavate, load, and move materials during shaft sinking activities
• Work closely with the shaft team to ensure smooth and productive operations
• Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance of equipment
• Adhere strictly to all health & safety procedures and site regulations
• Identify and report hazards, faults, or unsafe conditions

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience operating telescopic grab equipment
• Relevant operator tickets / certifications
• Strong understanding of site safety practices
• Ability to work in challenging and confined environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible approach to shift work, including nights and weekends

Desirable Skills:

• Previous shaft sinking or underground mining experience
• Confined Spaces Certification
• First Aid qualification
• Experience working on major infrastructure or mining projects
