Job Title: Telescopic Grab OperatorLocation: Greater ManchesterEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role: We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Telescopic Grab Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaft sinking operations, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of telescopic grab equipment in demanding underground environments. Shaft sinking experience is highly preferred.Key Responsibilities:Operate telescopic grab machinery safely and efficientlyExcavate, load, and move materials during shaft sinking activitiesWork closely with the shaft team to ensure smooth and productive operationsConduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance of equipmentAdhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and site regulationsIdentify and report hazards, faults, or unsafe conditionsEssential Requirements:Proven experience operating telescopic grab equipmentRelevant operator tickets / certificationsStrong understanding of site safety practicesAbility to work in challenging and confined environmentsGood communication and teamwork skillsFlexible approach to shift work, including nights and weekendsDesirable Skills:Previous shaft sinking or underground mining experienceConfined Spaces CertificationFirst Aid qualificationExperience working on major infrastructure or mining projectsWhat We Offer:Competitive pay rates with overtime opportunitiesLong-term project opportunitiesSupportive team environmentOngoing training and ..... full job details .....
