You will handle incoming enquiries, work out what the customer actually needs, quote it accurately and convert it into an order. Alongside that you will make outbound calls to existing customers, lapsed accounts and new prospects to grow the order book. You do not need to have sold pressure gauges, regulators or electrical components before. Full product training is given and there are experienced technical colleagues alongside you. What matters is that you are confident on the telephone, accurate with detail and willing to learn a technical product properly. If you have sold anything with a part number, a specification and a trade customer on the other end of the phone, the skills carry across. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Handle inbound telephone and email enquiries, establishing the application and identifying the correct product, size, pressure range, connection and material. Prepare and issue accurate quotations, then follow them through to conversion rather than waiting for the customer to come back.
