Heavy Plant and Telehandler OperatorLocation: Corby, NorthamptonshireSalary: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)Contract Type: Full-Time, OngoingAbout the RolePertemps is recruiting a skilled and versatile Heavy Plant and Telehandler Operator to join our established waste management client, Bailey''s Skip Hire, at their active recycling facility in Corby.In this role, you will play a key part in daily yard operations. While the site utilises 3.5T Telehandler trucks for moving materials, you will also be regularly operating heavy machinery-specifically a 360-grab excavator and a Loading Shovel-to sort, load, and manage incoming waste.Working Hours and Shift PatternsThis position offers excellent earning potential with generous weekly hours.Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PMSaturdays: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PMSaturday frequency is negotiable (e.g., every Saturday or every other Saturday).Key ResponsibilitiesWaste Handling: Safely operate a 360-grab to sort, stockpile, and feed various waste streams into processing equipment.Yard Loading: Operate the Loading Shovel to move bulk materials and load bulkers or skips.Telehandler Operation: Utilise the on-site 3.5T Telehandler trucks for transporting sorted materials and organising the yard safely.Maintenance and Checks: Complete daily pre-start safety inspections and routine maintenance (greasing, fluid top-ups) on all operated machinery.Health and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to site health and safety rules within a ..... full job details .....
