About the Role
The Telehandler - Great Haddon role in Peterborough involves operating machinery on a confined construction site, requiring confident manoeuvring in tight spaces. Based in PE7 3NG, this ongoing full-time position offers £20 to £23 per hour. Applicants must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification and demonstrate excellent machine control. Beyond operating, the successful candidate will assist the site team with general duties when not in the telehandler. We are looking for an experienced Telehandler to join a busy site in Great Haddon.
This is a tight site, so applicants must be confident operating in confined spaces and have excellent machine control. You'll also be expected to get out of the machine and assist with site duties when required.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification
- Experience working on busy construction sites
- Skilled operator with good awareness on tight sites
- Willing to assist the site team when not operating the machine
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
