Telehandler

-Bridgeman Recruitment Services ( Agency) are seeking an experienced and reliable Telehandler Operator to work on a busy housing development site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a telescopic forklift, supporting trades, and ensuring smooth material movement around site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a telehandler to move materials, pallets, and equipment to required areas on site.

• Assist site management and trades by delivering materials to specific plots as required.

• Perform daily pre-start checks and maintain the telehandler in good working order.

• Ensure all loads are safely secured before lifting or transporting.

• Keep access routes clear and work areas organised.

• Follow all site health & safety procedures and report hazards or defects immediately.

• Support other site duties when machine work is not required.

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Operator ticket.

• Proven experience operating telehandlers on housing or construction sites.

• Good understanding of health & safety regulations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with site teams.

• PPE (hard hat, boots, hi-vis, gloves, and eye protection).

Desirable:

• First Aid certificate.

• Experience on residential new build developments.
