A Telehandler / Slinger is responsible for safely operating a telescopic handler (telehandler) and directing lifting operations on construction or industrial sites. The role combines machine operation with signalling duties to guide lifting equipment and ensure loads are moved securely and efficiently. Reporting to the Senior Plant Manager. Basic pay rate: £19.10 per hour PAYE Shift- 12 days on, 2 days off. 12 hour days Start Date: ASAP, subject to gaining vetting Lodge pay is available for the successful candidate, if they meet the criteria. Qualifications/experience: Valid Telehandler (e.g., CPCS or NPORS) certification Valid Slinger/Signaller certification (CPCS/NPORS) Previous experience in construction or industrial environments Knowledge of lifting regulations (e.g., LOLER, PUWER) CSCS card Key Responsibilities: Telehandler Operation: Operate a telescopic forklift (telehandler) to lift, move, and place materials.
