Role Purpose

• Make outbound calls to supporters and potential donors.
• Help generate essential income to support services for people with sight loss.
• Deliver excellent supporter care while achieving fundraising targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound fundraising and supporter engagement calls.
• Promote fundraising campaigns, lotteries, Gift Aid and legacy giving.
• Meet individual and team income targets.
• Build positive relationships with supporters.
• Maintain accurate database records.
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practice.
• Provide feedback to improve campaign performance.

Essential Experience

• Customer service, sales, fundraising, marketing or call centre experience.
• Experience working to targets and achieving results.
• Confident using databases and Microsoft Office.
• Ideally experienced in outbound calling.

Essential Skills

• Friendly, confident and professional telephone manner.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, organised and reliable.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work with targets, data and performance metrics.

Desirable

• Charity or fundraising experience.
• Understanding of donor retention and income generation.
