Telecoms Electrician

Rubicon Consulting-is currently recruiting for a Telecoms-Electrician- on a 12 month contract based In the M4 corridor (Bedford)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced-18th Edition-Electrician-to join our team on a 12-month contract based in the Bedford- area. The successful candidate must hold-2391 Test & Inspect accreditation-and have proven experience working within telecomms and data centre environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a competent and self-sufficient-electrician-with strong containment and installation expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical containment systems including:
• Tray
• Basket
• Conduit (metal & PVC)
• Termination of power and data systems
• Installation and routing of containment infrastructure
• Testing and inspection of electrical installations
• Working to technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring compliance with current wiring regulations
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
• Installation of racks.
• Surveying
• Decommissioning of Fibre

Requirements

• Fully qualified-Electrician-with-18th Edition (BS 7671)
• 2391 Test & Inspect-qualification (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in-telecommunications and data centre projects
• Own van and tools
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
• Proficient in containment installation (tray, basket, conduit)
• Experience in structured cabling environments
• Strong termination skills
• Experience working within live data centre environments preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within project schedules
• Must have valid and proven experience working with Fibre.-
• Must have worked in data centres with Fibre-
