We are keen hear from candidates at all levels, from junior and intermediate engineers through to experienced senior designers.The key requirement is experience delivering SISS design within a UK railway environment.The RoleYou''ll be responsible for the design and development of Station Information and Surveillance Systems (SISS) across a range of rail projects, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, compliant and high-quality designs.Systems may include:CCTV/VSS/PTZsPublic Address (PA/PAVA)Help PointsAccess ControlCustomer Information Systems (CIS)General Station communications systemsResponsibilitiesProduce SISS designs and associated documentation.Prepare drawings, specifications, reports and design calculations.Ensure designs comply with relevant railway industry standards.Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.Collaborate with telecoms, and multi-disciplinary project teamsRequirementsExperience producing SISS designs within the UK rail sector.Design experience of rail communications and security systems.Understanding of UK Railway standards and design processes.Ability to contribute to or independently produce design deliverables.What''s on Offer?Permanent and contract options ..... full job details .....
