Telecare Field Technician

BDS are currently recruiting for a Telecare Field Technician to work for a emergency response service in the Wakefield area. As a Telecare Field Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering telecare support to customers in their own homes and supported housing. Fitting/replacing or repairing equipment. This is a field-based, lone-working role operating on a Monday to Friday role, with added on call shifts worked on a rota basis (including nights and weekends). What You Will Be Doing Going out daily to install, repair or replace telecare equipment. Providing calm, empathetic reassurance and support explaining how to use the equipment. Assessing situations and taking appropriate action in line with procedures and training. Accurately updating service user records and documentation using our systems. Working safely and independently while remaining connected to the wider team. What We Are Looking For A caring and calm approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Confidence working independently in a lone-working, field-based role. Willingness to work a rolling rota including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Full UK driving license. Company vehicle is provided. Basic IT skills and attention to detail when recording information.
