Telco Network Engineer - Hybrid working - £400 per day outside IR35

Network Engineer - Network Engineer role supporting design, modelling, capacity planning, and migration across a predominantly Nokia-based network, with some Cisco infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design and document solutions, including replacement of Cisco ASR1004 with NCS540 Produce design documents and Methods of Procedure (MOPs) Support service migrations, including fixed voice Perform network modelling, failure analysis, and capacity planning Use Cramer for modelling devices, links, and services Conduct lab work (config clean-up, device setup, physical connectivity at Newbury) Support fixed voice and other network design projects Carry out feasibility checks (eg, port availability) Use Scripting to extract and analyse network data (where applicable) Essential Skills Strong network engineering experience (service provider environment preferred) Nokia SROS and NSP knowledge Experience with Cisco platforms (ASR1000/NCS540 desirable) Network design, modelling, and migration experience Cramer modelling experience Understanding of fixed voice networks Desirable Scripting (eg, Python) Spirent Velocity experience Lab/testing experience in multi-vendor environments ..... full job details .....
