Assessing the impact of the business strategy on the enterprise architecture, including organisation, applications, data, infrastructure, and operationsStaying abreast of Comms and Media industry dynamics and the impact of trends on an organisation, to identify and formulate need for change in enterprise architectureCo-creating a client’s Enterprise Architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business objectivesDeveloping recommendations and translating them into actionable roadmaps for complex and large technology environments using Lean and Agile enterprise principlesSupporting the creation of Enterprise Architecture blueprints, demonstrating the end-to-end technology landscape including applications, integrations, and dataConducting end-to-end vendor assessments across technology, vendor and/or data platformsWorking between the business and technology client and 3rd-party stakeholders to effectively formulate, communicate and conclude key architectural decisionsProviding EA governance to clients throughout their transformation programme to ensure that new initiatives comply with the set guidelines, without jeopardising business objectivesSupport in designing and governing enterprise data platform capabilities including integration and automationSupporting the creation of Enterprise Architecture Operating model definition and implementation roadmapsCompleting Enterprise Architecture maturity assessment on behalf of clientsWhat we are looking for
Work within or across one of the architectural domains; Business, Application, Data and TechnologyExperience on complex digital transformation programmes; ability to operate across different levels of architecture abstraction; and work with multi-disciplinary teamsBroad understanding across the Comms and Media industry landscape e.g. leading Telco industry solutions, platform options and considerations across BSS and OSSDeep understanding of Telco frameworks including eTOM / Frameworx, TMFORUM ODA, Open APIsProven stakeholder management and communication skills to influence key architectural decisionsExperience designing Cloud / Data Platforms and AI solutions including Gen AI, and openness to explore emerging technologiesWhat could set you apart
Depth of knowledge within Comms and Media industry processes and underlying technology architecture, emerging technology trendsIn-depth technology insight in Telco functional domains (e.g. Sales, CRM, Order Management, Product management, Billing and OSS)Experience as a solution architect or enterprise architectExperience with business capability and process taxonomies, maturity assessments and gap mapping to enabling technology solutionsExperience with Enterprise / platform / application / data architectureKnowledge of architecture tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, iServerPrior experience in Comms and MediaExperience in major EA engagements (e.g. application optimisation/rationalisation, re-platforming, modernization)Certifications in TOGAF, SAFe, and/or AWS/Azure/GCP or similarFamiliarity with APQC Process Classification Framework, Zachman Framework, ITIL and Scaled Agile FrameworkWhat’s In It For You
