      <description>Location: Surrey | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Tech Angels is a service that aims to reduce digital exclusion across Surrey. These days so much connection happens digitally; those without the knowledge or equipment to connect to the internet are at a very high risk of loneliness and isolation, which have a significant negative impact on physical and mental health. To combat this, we provide devices on long term loan to people who are disabled or living with a health condition, family carers, of older age, or to those with another vulnerability. We also offer a match with one of our team of volunteer Tech Angels, to help with digital literacy and confidence. We also supply those who do not have WiFi access with a data sim card so that they can be connected.    The purpose of the role is to take ownership of the full delivery of the service, coordinating referrals from initial enquiry through to completion. This includes managing volunteers, supporting service users, and ensuring all elements of the service run effectively so that people facing digital exclusion receive the support they need to get and stay connected.
