Technology Operations Lead - (Events)
A major UK organisation with a large events and customer facing operation is looking for a Technology Operations Lead to support the delivery of technology services across conferences, exhibitions and live environments.This role sits between internal Technology teams, commercial teams and external service providers. You''ll ensure that what''s agreed with customers, what''s technically feasible, and what''s delivered operationally are fully aligned.Key ResponsibilitiesReview customer technology requirementsValidate feasibility with internal teams and external providersIdentify risks early and escalate where neededEnsure services sold align with technical standardsAct as the on-site technology point of contactTroubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, wired, endpoint, VPN, DHCP/DNS)Coordinate incident response with technical teamsMaintain awareness of service performanceCommunicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersBalance customer expectations with operational constraintsLead service debriefsReview performance and incidentsContribute to service improvementsWhat You''ll BringExperience supporting technology for live events (venue, exhibition, conference, hospitality or similar)Strong understanding of enterprise IT and networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, endpoints, service delivery)Experience coordinating incident response in high-pressure environmentsAbility to manage multiple stakeholdersClear communication with ..... full job details .....
