We''re looking for an Technology Design Engineer to join our Technology Design team based in Manchester/Newcastle or Birmingham. Location: Manchester/Newcastle or Birmingham - with agile working opportunityHours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. Starting: from £42,000 per annum Sector: Mechanical Electrical and Technology - Highways We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. We''re looking for a Technology Design Engineer to support the delivery of highways technology solutions across the full project lifecycle. You''ll play a key role in developing, coordinating and assuring designs for integrated digital and roadside systems - ensuring they are compliant, buildable and aligned to client requirements. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you''ll contribute to safe, efficient and future-ready infrastructure across major UK projects. Are you HNC/Degree (or working towards)-qualified in Electrical, Electronic, Communications or Technology Engineering or equivalent relevant field? Experienced in highways or infrastructure technology design? Familiar with National Highways standards (e.g. DMRB, TA401)? Comfortable working across ITS, communications or digital infrastructure?
