Technologist

Talentmark are recruiting for a Technologist, to join a Flooring Materials manufacturing company, at their site based in Coventry. The salary for this role ranges from 28,000 - 37,000pa, dependent on experience and ability. The Technologist will take part in key RandD projects, working in the RandD Team. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5.15pm (37.5 hours per week). Location:The Technologist will be based at the company''s site in Coventry, easily commutable from Birmingham. Technologist Role:Your main duties will be:Develop technically innovative new products Evaluate and introduce alternative raw materials at laboratory and trial scaleProvide effective technical support to ManufacturingIdentify and implement opportunities to improve the product/process and reduce costIdentify opportunities for technology transfer and introduction of new technology to deliver innovative new products.Undertake internal testing and commission external testing when appropriateYour Background:The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:At least 3 years'' experience in Polymer Processing Industry.Experience in Project Management.BSc/MChem/MSci Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science.Full UK Driving Licence (car not required).Apply: It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
