Technologist

We are currently looking for an experienced Development Technologist to join the RandD department of a company in Derbyshire. As a Technologist you will lead/ support projects to develop new and existing textile products. Responsibilities include Design and run experiments. Apply expertise in colour theory, dyeing techniques, and colourfastness to development company products. Evaluate raw materials for their properties and how they react in processes Support production to implement new and re-developed processes and solve technical problems on the plant. Drive RandD projects from the laboratory through to pilot plant. Ideal candidates will have A degree in Chemistry and have experience in the research and development of textiles or materials. You will have experience in dying techniques and ideally colourfastness, along with experience in scale-up and manufacturing.
