What You''ll Be Doing:
- Support supplier due diligence, ethical compliance, and responsible sourcing programmes, ensuring supplier approvals, documentation, and compliance records remain accurate and up to date
- Assist with supplier audits, Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD), risk assessments, and corrective action plans, helping to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain
- Collect, validate, and analyse sustainability data, supporting reporting on carbon emissions, food waste, environmental performance, and key ESG metrics
- Help maintain compliance with SEDEX, SMETA, BRCGS, retailer standards, and internal governance requirements, ensuring the business remains audit-ready
- Produce reports, dashboards, and management information to support sustainability initiatives, customer reporting, and strategic decision-making
- Build positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams, supporting sustainability projects and responsible sourcing objectives across the business
- Monitor emerging legislation, retailer expectations, and industry developments, helping to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Provide day-to-day technical support across sustainability, ethical trade, and environmental programmes, contributing to the wider ESG strategy
What We''re Looking For:
- Experience or knowledge of sustainability, responsible sourcing, ethical trade, supplier assurance, or environmental compliance within FMCG, fresh produce, agriculture, or food manufacturing
- Understanding of industry standards such as SEDEX, SMETA, BRCGS, Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD), or retailer compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, produce reports, and manage multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting systems, with a proactive attitude and a genuine passion for sustainability and ethical supply chains
