We''re recruiting on behalf of a fast-moving business in the fresh produce sector for a Technologist to join their Technical team - someone who wants real ownership over quality, compliance, and supplier relationships, not just a seat at the table. What you''ll be doing: * Leading on supplier approval and due diligence, including onboarding new suppliers and seasonal reviews, and supporting sign-off on specifications and technical programs * Acting as a point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and keeping the wider business informed of what they need * Investigating the root cause behind complaints and following through with fixes that stick, using data to identify where quality or efficiency could improve * Contributing to new product development from concept through to launch, and keeping specifications and documentation accurate and up to date * Liaising with suppliers and site teams on seasonal, ethical, and environmental matters * Visiting supplier or grower sites periodically to see performance first-hand * Carrying out GMP and food safety audits, managing the sample appro...
