Technologist

This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad exposure across ingredient categories, allergens, and processes while working closely with colleagues in Quality, NPD, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Compliance - Manage ingredient standards, certifications, and ensure regulatory compliance across UK, EU, and international markets.
Auditing & Supplier Performance - Conduct supplier audits annually, track KPIs, and drive corrective actions to maintain high standards.
Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with NPD and Procurement to align ingredient quality with innovation projects and sourcing timelines.
System Development - Support the rollout of new specification systems and contribute to ingredient standards development.
Ingredient Management - Oversee specifications, approvals, and supplier documentation for a wide range of raw materials.
Problem-Solving - Lead investigations into supplier non-conformances, implementing CAPAs to prevent recurrence.

What you''ll need!
2+ years'' experience in a Quality Assurance / Food Technologist role within the food industry.
Strong organisational and analytical skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent communication skills, with confidence working cross-functionally and with suppliers.
A proactive, can-do mindset and willingness to learn quickly.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory frameworks (UK/EU/US) is desirable but not essential.


Hybrid working model, with time split between head office, factory visits, and home-based flexibility.
Occasional UK/EU travel for supplier audits.
A supportive team environment with exposure to diverse ingredients and product innovation.
