Technologist Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Salary: 29,000 - 31,000 per annum (DOE) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Travel: Approximately 50% UK and international travel The OpportunityWe are recruiting for a Fall Protection Technologist to join a leading product testing and compliance organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded individual who enjoys a varied role combining laboratory testing, customer interaction, site visits, audits and international travel.Working within a specialist testing team, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting testing programmes for equipment used in working-at-height environments, ensuring products meet recognised safety, quality and performance standards.This role offers excellent development opportunities, with full training provided where required. The RoleAs a Fall Protection Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:Planning and coordinating testing projects for fall protection and safety products.Producing detailed technical reports based on testing outcomes.Liaising with customers via email, telephone and face-to-face meetings.Hosting customer visits and carrying out testing activities both on-site and at customer locations.Conducting audits of manufacturing facilities and production control processes.Carrying out routine physical testing in accordance with recognised industry standards.Operating specialist testing equipment and accurately recording results.Supporting continuous ..... full job details .....
