Technician - Electrical

About the Role Technician - Electrical Permanent position Inchinnan, Glasgow The Role: The Electrical Technician is responsible for the manufacturing, assembly and service of the company''s products as directed by the senior team. They will instruct and delegate to the direct reports ensuring that products conform, QA processes and safety is key and adhered too, and individuals are trained on the appropriate product in order to deliver our products on time in full. Key Duties and responsibilities: • Supervision and training of Trainee Technicians. • Sign off controlled company documentation. • Plan workloads and delegate tasks. • Carry out all operational activities in a safe and reliable manner. • Participate in the movement of materials through workshop from start to completion. • Development of electronics/electrical team''s skills and competencies. • Effectively communicate with others, seeking clarification where necessary, and respond to feedback. • Organise and keep clean workshop areas. • Performing customer service functions, including interacting with customers and answering questions • Working with engineers to keep products up to date and helping future proofing of products. A flexible approach to working will be required, as there may be some working away from base as projects require.
