THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you''ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality technical and diagnostic work, ensuring customer satisfaction and workshop productivity targets are consistently achieved.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out vehicle inspections, servicing and repairs
·Diagnosing mechanical and technical faults
·Providing a high-quality technical and diagnostic service
·Working efficiently to meet productivity targets
·Maintaining excellent technical knowledge
·Completing manufacturer training as required
·Ensuring all work meets company and manufacturer quality standards
·Completing vehicle health checks accurately
·Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer care
The role involves working within a modern automotive workshop environment with access to the latest diagnostic technology and equipment.
 
ABOUT YOU
We''re looking for an experienced technician with:
·City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
·Previous experience inspecting, repairing and servicing vehicles
·Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
·Full UK driving licence
·Good verbal and written communication skills
·High standards of workmanship
·A professional and reliable approach
·Previous franchised dealership experience preferred but not essential
·MOT Tester qualification highly beneficial
