Location: Leicester
Salary: OTE up to £43,000 DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm + every other Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm
Overtime: Available

We''re looking for an experienced MOT Tester who is confident carrying out MOT tests alongside servicing, repairs, diagnostics and general mechanical work.
This is a hands-on role where you''ll work on a wide variety of vehicles, with the opportunity to develop your technical skills further and earn up to £43,000 OTE, depending on experience.

THE ROLE
As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician, you''ll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, servicing and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out MOT tests to the required standard
·Completing servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
·Carrying out complex diagnostics and fault finding
·Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
·Carrying out repairs identified during inspections
·Advising the Service Team of additional work required
·Keeping colleagues updated on job progress and completion
·Identifying the best method of repair
·Working efficiently to agreed repair times
·Prioritising workload in conjunction with the wider Aftersales Team
·Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
·Working safely and maintaining a clean and professional workshop
 
ABOUT YOU
We''re looking for a confident MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician with:
·Valid MOT Tester Licence / Class 4 qualification - ESSENTIAL
·Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
·Strong mechanical repair and servicing experience
·Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
·Good understanding of vehicle electrical systems
·Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles
·Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
·Good communication skills
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Full UK driving licence
