VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Boston
Salary: Basic salary + OTE up to £36,000 + benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm + Saturdays on a rota

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you''ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring work is completed efficiently and correctly first time.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
·Completing mechanical and electrical repairs
·Diagnosing vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment
·Carrying out repairs to systems including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, exhausts and air conditioning
·Working on modern hybrid and electric vehicles where required
·Carrying out vehicle health checks
·Identifying additional work and reporting findings
·Completing all work to a high standard and minimising repeat repairs
·Following technical and safety procedures
·Maintaining accurate repair documentation
·Working efficiently to agreed productivity targets
·Maintaining a clean, safe and professional workshop environment
 
ABOUT YOU
We''re looking for someone who has:
·NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
·Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
·Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
·High standards of workmanship
·Good attention to detail
·A full UK driving licence
·The ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop
·A positive and professional approach to your work
 
EV/Hybrid qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential, with training available. An MOT licence would also be beneficial but is not essential.
