Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic – Main Dealership
Basic Salary: Up to £34,000 (DOE)
OTE: £40,000
Location: Newport
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 + Saturday Rota (Paid Overtime)

An established and high-performing dealership is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their busy workshop in Newport.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician looking for stability, strong earning potential, and ongoing manufacturer training within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Complete work to manufacturer standards and guidelines
• Conduct vehicle health checks (VHCs) and produce accurate reports
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and safely
• Support workshop productivity as part of a team

Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
• Experience within a dealership or independent garage
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Own tools required
• Full UK Driving Licence
