Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2.Job Title: Technician 2Location: Samlesbury, BalderstoneRate: PAYE - £14.90/hr (Basic) or UMB £19.33 per hour (Inside IR35)Start/End Date: 01/12/2026 to 03/05/2027Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30Description:Undertake incident and request tasksPossess 2nd line responsibility for resolving incidents to SLAMaintain a 2% incident per month targetBe responsible for the completion of assigned works within allocated timeframesUndertake Project Tasks, supporting both internal and external Project ManagersUndertake Non-Standard Requests tasks to agreed timescalesProactively communicate and coordinate with Level 3 teams to highlight major level issuesFind resolution of technical issues for laptop/desktop hardware, networks, printers, etc.Install andamp; configure software and hardwareYour skills and experienceAn in-depth knowledge and good understanding of Microsoft Windows OS (Windows 10 andamp; Windows 11), including build, configuration and registry settings is required, along with a level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.Experience handling LTSC Channels and KIOSK is highly desirableBasic level understanding of SCCM/Active Directory and a working knowledge of IT service modelsNetworking experience to include an understanding of LAN/WAN/LAN and Wi-Fi technologies, DHCP, DNS/WINS, PXE and VPN/remote connectivity.An appreciation of the Microsoft Exchange environment, email client configuration, MS ..... full job details .....
