Technical/Quality Manager - Stoke-on-Trent Salary: 30,000 - 38,000 (depending on experience) Hours: 08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays Pension: Stakeholder pensionA small but internationally connected manufacturer in the Stoke-on-Trent area is looking to recruit a Technical/Quality Manager. This is a key role within a small, close-knit team, offering the opportunity to work closely with the current Technical Manager.Responsibilities include:Managing the Quality Assurance SystemInvestigating new applications, products and materialsResponding to customer complaints and quality issuesWriting manufacturing specifications for new productsAssisting the Design Manager with structural analysis calculationsExperience and qualifications required:Degree qualified, preferably in Materials Science, Ceramics or a related disciplineKnowledge of the mechanical and thermal properties of ceramics and other engineering materialsExperience with testing procedures and quality systemsBackground in ceramics or materials science is highly advantageousIn return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for a technically motivated manager.
