Salary up to 41,000 depending on experience Location Wotton-under-Edge Hybrid working 4days/week on-site (please note: little to no public transport available) The Technical Writer creates and maintains high-quality technical documentation across Renishaw''s product portfolio. The role supports customer success by ensuring technical information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with company standards. Working within the Technical Communications and Localisation team, the Technical Writer collaborates with subject matter experts across engineering, product management, software development, service, quality, and marketing to develop content that supports the complete customer journey. The role will also support Renishaw''s adoption of Heretto CCMS and DITA structured authoring, contributing to content reuse, multi-channel publishing, and the migration of legacy content into the new content platform. Responsibilities Create, edit, review, and maintain customer-facing technical documentation, including: User guides, Installation instructions, Programming manuals, Data sheets, Online help, and web content. Gather technical information from engineers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-focused content. Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with Renishaw standards, terminology, and style guidelines.
