Technical Underwriting Manager - Warranty Lancashire - Hybrid Working Attractive Salary + Bonus + Benefits (Dependent on Experience) IPS Group are working with a well-established vehicle warranty provider looking to recruit an Underwriting Manager into a key position within the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced underwriting professional who enjoys looking at the bigger picture. Rather than being focused on day-to-day underwriting activity, the role offers the chance to take ownership of portfolio performance, underwriting strategy and profitability, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you''ll be responsible for monitoring portfolio performance, reviewing claims and underwriting trends, challenging results where required and helping shape future underwriting and pricing decisions. You''ll work closely with an established Data team, using insight and analytics to support decision-making and drive profitable growth. The role would suit someone with strong technical underwriting expertise and a commercial mindset who enjoys understanding what sits behind the numbers and influencing business decisions. Whilst experience within motor or warranty would be beneficial, the client is open to individuals from a broader insurance underwriting background. Why consider the role?
