      <description>Location: Liverpool | Salary: &amp;pound;32000/annum | Type: Temporary | Technical Support Technician (Rail Operations)    Location:  Newcastle upon Tyne, Nexus control room   Contract:  Temporary, Contract   Hours:  Full-time, 3 x 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 rotation   Salary:  -32,000 plus 20% shift allowance   Start date:  ASAP   Role Overview   We are looking for a Technical Support Technician (Rail Operations) to join a busy rail operations environment. This role is based in a control room setting and will focus on supporting live train operations by advising on, diagnosing and responding to in-service faults and failed units.  The successful candidate will work closely with production teams, drivers and operational stakeholders to ensure trains are safely and reliably available for service. This is a great opportunity for someone with a rail, depot, automotive or military technical background who is looking to develop within rolling stock.
