About The RoleOne Aftersales team are recruiting for an
Automotive Technical Support Specialist
on a permanent
part time
basis (23.5 hours across 3 consecutive days (Mon – Wed or Wed – Fri)). Reporting into the Technical Support Team Manager, this position will be based in Milton Keynes.What you could be doing:Essentially providing our Group network (all 6 brands) with high quality technical support/resolutions via group approved contact systems and software (DISS/ODIS), remote diagnosis or dealer on site visits, all as a result of a technical enquiry.Taking ownership of information and guidance provided with a customer centric approach whilst meeting group global targets for quality and response.Proactively drive case resolution by either remote support or hands-on repair guidance/coaching collaborating with the Customer Service Centre, Technical Service Centre, brands, factories and National Learning Centre to ensure customer satisfaction / resolution.You’ll identify and influence process improvement to ensure our Dealers are suitably supported on determining the best options for our customers and ensuring the most efficient solution is driven through proactive measures and technology.Skills and experience you can bring to the role:Proven success in diagnosis on a range of vehicle systems with wide experience in all aspects of vehicle repairsIdeally a High Voltage Expert qualification but minimum requirement of Master Technician qualificationExcellent computer/analytical skills to troubleshoot issuesStrong communication skills to relay information effectively at all levels, both written and verbalHighly motivated self-starter able to work on own initiative with a desire to resolve a variety of technical issues at one time, providing world class customer satisfactionFocus on prevention as well as cure and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team structure.Full UK driving licenceWhat can we offer you?Along with a competitive salary, car schemes (including cars for family members), discretionary bonus, enhanced pension contributions, healthcare cash plan, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working, additional training, 4 x life insurance and health and wellbeing support, we also offer a wide range of flexible benefits to suit you and your lifestyle.One AftersalesOne Aftersales combines experts from across the business into one function, focusing on different areas of our aftersales proposition.
