The Opportunity: Technical Support Services ManagerThe Impact you will have

Comply with company SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) policies.Supporting SHEQ, Briggs Equipment and Briggs Group Business Units with formal technical investigationProviding an effective support function for all engineering resource with Briggs Equipment and Briggs Group Business UnitsCoordinating the field Technical support engineers to ensure timely resolutions of all issues, effectively utilizing relevant technologyEnsuring effective management of the Technical Ticket Portal and deliver findings on a monthly basis, supported with recommendations for improvement areasAnalysing and produce data to identify skill deficiencies and opportunities within in the field and implement corrective actionsExecuting findings and continual fleet monitoring to make recommendations to reduce downtimeDelivering feedback on all technical issues to Regional Engineering Business Managers for the regionEnsuring that all recommendations/closing reports and technical issues are logged formally and comprehensive reports are created and logged on the system and all actions from the report are carried outInteracting with both internal/external customers and relevant manufacturers to resolve technical issues in a timely mannerHolding a regular Technical Meetings with HYG on all technical issues and feed back to the business with the findingsThrough your team, ensure that all service Bulletins have been distributed to the relevant peopleDemonstrate effective leadership of the Technical Support Services Team. Ensuring effective communication with all team members, including Comm Cells, one to one’s and toolbox talks, where training needs can be identified and performance standards can be set and achieved.Deliver a strategic succession plan within the Technical Support Services team, ensuring CPD of team members and resilience to the businessAdditional Regular Commitments

Liaise with the AMS team and through your team plan the activity of audits for the EA engineers.Liaise with Qualitas and plan activity of audits of EngineersFollow up repeat A defect identification and plan follow up audits for relevant EngineerWhat will help you to excel in this role

Accredited mechanical /electrical trade technical apprentice or equivalentCert Ed or equivalentValid driving LicenseExtensive Product KnowledgeExperience of oral and written communicationSubstantial PC Skills (PowerPoint, word, excel, email and internet)Significant knowledge of HandS, Environmental and Quality policy awareness and commitmentWhat you can expect from us
