Technical Support Operative

SLR Recruitment are working with an exciting new client based in Old Portsmouth on the look out for a Technical Support Operative!-

The Role:-

You''ll be supporting the Technical Manager based in Old Portsmouth supporting the day to day activities and equipment required.-

This involves filling canisters and bottles, delivering equipment and assisting with general maintenance.-

Sometimes the role will involve travelling to and from local sites but mostly is workshop based.

You don''t need to have diving experience!-

We are looking for someone who is:-

-Technically minded/curious-

-Keen to develop and progress with strong drive

-Proactive with a ''can-do'' attitude-

-Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions

-Hands on approach

-Desirable: Someone who has worked in a workshop environment previously

About our client:-

Our client is a specialist firm in Commercial Diving and Marine Civil Engineering that offer a full range of support across on shore and offshore environments.-

They are based in Old Portsmouth with a tight friendly team and operate all over the UK.-

They cover Marine Civil Engineering, Ship Support, Waste water and sewage, Confined Spaces and Surveys and Inspections.-

They''re very much a growing organisation who are keen to add a valuable member to their team to train and grow with them!-

MUST HAVE''S

-Be over 25 years of age-(due to insurance required)

-A full clean UK driving license

Job Scope:-

This is a temporary to permanent position.-

Our client is looking for someone who wants to progress so is keen to start on a temporary basis but will take on a permanent basis if they feel the fit is right!-

Rates

-1314 per hour depending on experience and client''s final decision
