Technical Support Engineer (ROV Quotations)

A specialist ROV company is seeking a Technical Support Engineer with a strong focus on quotations, tendering and technical coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the centre of commercial activity, reviewing technical enquiries, developing accurate costings, and producing high quality proposals that support successful project delivery. Role Overview The position is heavily centred on managing incoming enquiries, interpreting ROV requirements, and preparing detailed quotations for both sales and rental equipment. You will work closely with engineering, projects and operations to gather the information needed to build competitive proposals, ensure accurate pricing, and support the smooth delivery of ongoing work scopes. Alongside quotation development, you will help coordinate project documentation, supplier engagement, equipment preparation and operational tracking, ensuring all commercial and technical information is complete, accurate and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities Review incoming RFQs and technical information to understand scope, requirements and commercial considerations. Work with engineering and project teams to gather technical details needed for supplier pricing. Identify suitable suppliers and manage the return of third party quotations. Build detailed project costings by combining supplier pricing with internal resource and equipment requirements.
